Coldest....My very first Gator game right here in Jacksonville. It was the Gators vs Iowa Hawkeyes in the 1983 Gator Bowl. By game's end, the windchill was about 15. I had been in very cold weather but had never sat for almost 4 hours in it and not dressed appropriately. To this day, THE coldest I have EVER been! It was quite a war story for Dad and I.
Hottest.... Gators 1992 opener vs Kentucky. A friggen NOON start!!!!??? UUUUGH! The temperature at kickoff was 94 degrees with SMOTHERING humidity. Thank God it got cloudy in the second half. I had a hat on and my head was still hot. That sun was BAKING!
