Peterson beat the Patriots in their Super Bowl with Nick Foles at QB. Part of that is his OL that year was great IMO, however he mixed up his offense anticipating Belichick's nuking of old game film and put together a plan that surprised and gave them an edge.

So yeah. For now Peterson would be above McVay in a coach ranking if I were to do one. But note McVay's age and future so ten years from now it should be a completely different deal.
