I loved John Fassel and still believe he's one of the best, but maybe Bonamego steady's things and the unit is better overall not taking as many chances. Kicking the ball out of the end zone instead of short because Fassel wanted to hem a team in more. Having Hekker just punt instead of placing the ball so much and finding a true kickoff & punt return man in Brandon Polk.

Bonamego's best unit finish overall with 8th and that was last season, but maybe his structure gets them back to a top ten unit, although with not taking as many chances.
