No, my Dad moved to SoCal after he was in the Army.
We went back to Pa every summer....Drove from SoCal, to Albuquerque, to Oklahoma City, to St. Louis, to St. Clair.....Dad drove every mile because we could not drive yet. Back in the 70's, people drove instead of flying.
Visited family, ate shoo fly pie and went to Amish Country, went to Philly for cheese steak..Phillies games.....Eagles Camp....Did it every summer, it was a lot of fun.
Then, with my aunt and uncle, we headed back to Ca.....A different way every year....North to Mt. Rushmore, straight West to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons...Then, of course Las Vegas for a few days.
I have been in every state of the USA except Alaska.........Good times, great memories.
Wow. That sounds awesome my friend!! Good stuff. Thanks for sharing!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
