can't say that positively but I'm going to go with it...... for this reason: (pretty much in line with you)

To this day, and forever more, I thought some of those previous 70' team's were better than the 79' team... not that 79' wasn't great, and I loved them... but some of those previous teams I thought not merely the best Ram's teams but for those days the BEST team in the NFL... thus:

I was coming to believe I would never see the Rams in the SB in my lifetime. That play did not send the Rams to the SB... that took place against TB, as we all know.......but then again, it did, in my mind. It was THE play that turned it all around, IMHO.

Like you I think there were bigger plays... as far as 'thrills', 'suspense'.... and of course "The Tackle"... the biggest of all... But Ferragamo to Waddy? I can still tell you exactly what I was wearing when that happened, what I had for breakfast lunch and dinner, how I reacted down to every step I took. - JamesJM
