I know. So in the CFL if the ball is on the 41 yard line it's 41 yards to the goal line and also 41 yards to the goal post. That makes it a 41 yard field goal.

In the NFL a ball on the 41 yard line is still 41 yards from the goal line, but it's 51 yards from the goal post making it a 51 yard FG.

In the video, when they say he's attempting a 41 yard FG the ball is spotted in the 41. In the CFL that is in fact a 41 yard FG. (A ball on that exact same spot in the NFL would be 51 yards. That's where the extra 10 yards comes in to play.)
