Just because something is introduced in 2020 does not mean that it's automatically better than something in the 80's.
But that works vice versa too. Just because something is from the 80s does not mean it is automatically better than a new version.
It's still taste either way. Yes it's true the word "modern" doesn't help anything--that's meaningless if you don't like it.
So we will always arrive at the same point--it's always just going to be a matter of taste. If you like it you like it, if you don't you don't.
