THIS is what I thought they'd do to the Horn on the hemets...

Something like the bottom right circle....and or using a drop shadow near the bottom to make it look like the horn is off the helmet a smidge.
I also thot they might use some very very light segmented lines across the horn...not too heavy...just enough to make them look a bit more natural to the animal.
