OK, so I've been trying to keep an open mind about the new jerseys, new logos, et al... But I've pretty much been leaning towards what most people think of them. So I thought about it, and I thought it might help if I could come up with one word to describe my feelings towards them. Finally I found it...
Cartoonish.
Yeah, I'm old school big time, and I even miss the old blue-and-whites sometimes. I do understand the need to keep up with the times, brave new world, and all that. But still...
Cartoonish.
I look at these and it makes me think I'm watching a Power Rangers cartoon. They don't project Attitude. They don't project Strength. They don't project Badass NFL Team That's Gonna Dominate Whoever's Across The Line From Them.
Cartoonish. Power Rangers. That's what they say to me.
