But this is also partly why I don't buy jerseys of current players. I won't buy a jersey of anyone younger than me.. My last two "current player" jerseys I received as gifts (Bradford in 2011 and Gurley in 2017) and both became obsolete too quickly.

The #85 Youngblood jersey I bought around 1997 finally literally started falling apart last year and needs a proper burial. In 2018 a college friend sent me a signed Jim Everett road whites jersey from an event where he won it.

Thinking of getting another 70s/80s one sometime soon- Cromwell, Harrah, Owens, Ekern?
