I am feeling they just think they MUST update the look...not by just thickening the HORNS...no they MUST make a BIG impact....they are going to IMO put that break in the HORN.....No idea why because IMO that will be just what it looks like...a broken horn....I guess because they think that it needs to be done to put 'their" dot on the 'I" so to speak....the uni will not help the ruin of the helmet look....it will just maybe take your eye off the "RAMS Helmet"......man this is feeling bad IMO....they are going to do it....just for the sake of doing it thinking it will be something fresh.....
There's a real reason why Porsche keeps that look...because it works..wish we did that, but it just ain't going to be....Other fans are going to take up talk like" the horns are already broke we'll finish them off"....kinda thing.
I chose "Even worse than breaking the horn" because by shortening of the horn is far worse than the "crack" IMO. The crack isn't too bad as long as the horn curls like it should.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
