This was from uni watch and I'm sure it was posted already since this is from March, but well worth a revisit.
After reading this...You can tell how mad they were about leaked hat and how bad that horrible version really was a death blow to this new logo and how it ruined any chance for this logo to succeed....which in retrospect I can see how it just jaded so many of us.....that being said, Demoff did it no favors by distancing themselves from it and somewhat deceiving the fans with the whole "don't worry it's not the one from the leaked hat" line the day before the launch in a letter to season ticket holders.
Just as the leaked hat tainted the new logo and jaded most of our opinions, I have a bad feeling the new logo will do the same to the new uni.....
IMHO the Rams could save the new UNI by doing something so very simple.....
just leave the horns on the helmet alone....If they do that and it looks like the helmet shown during the draft, I think the new uni will go over sooooooo much better with most of us.....BUT if they throw that tainted logo horn on the helmet, it isn't going to be pretty.
