What a mess he has on his hands is several areas this offseason. Yet, he's nowhere to be found.
It wouldn't be the worst thing if Kroenke restructured the FO. Demoff is in way over his head where he is now.
Snead has already addressed the money issue.
And if not liking a logo is grounds to re-do the front office....then I have no comment.
I remember a time, around 2000, when I was highly critical of Zygmunt, and got met on the boards with massive backlash over it. I actually had to defend myself for criticizing the suits. But...Zygmunt actually did bad things.
Well I agree with you on Zygmunt. And it's fine that you don't agree with me on Demoff. I happen to think Demoff is totally incapable of handling marketing and the re-branding of the team. He's good at finances, running interference for Stan, and sitting in a dunk tank, but thats about it.
He hired McVay. The team has done good community work both in St. Louis and LA. That's all substantial stuff.
In this thread, my complaint is about the writer of the article. I mean it dawns on us that issues with offsets may come up in a rare time when teams can't sign people to contracts because they can't do physicals. Why didn't that occur to the writer?
IMO bringing Demoff up in this context is an off-target distraction.
