He's not a naturally gifted rusher. If he was he would have went higher even with his injury history. Just has to be said when I'm seeing Von Miller comps is all. Because Von was a different guy with real natural skills in his balance and body control. And that's ok, most guys aren't Von.
But he's long with plus size so if he can get that technique down quickly I think he can be a very good OLB who fits the scheme who can get better and better. And I can't complain where the Rams took him, it was good value if they can get the full effort without him getting injured.
And that's the other thing with him... there's a perception out there that he was protecting himself vs injury in 2019 which I think is accurate. It explains some of the ho-hum snaps he put up. I mean who knows. Just throwing that out there.
EDIT: oh and re: Fowler... Sacks don't tell the tale. He was quite good in pressures and even against the run. It will be hard for any rookie to meet that.
