I agree---and, I admit, I dind't have the guts to write what you wrote about Lewis on Alyo's post.
Comparing Lewis to Von Miller= this: I remember the wisdom of a smart NEbraska fan who said L Phillips wasn't a better "running back" than Tommie Frazier their QB....
it took me about 5 years to "get" that statement. And, by the way, L Philips was not tough...and he rans a 4.45 at 208lbs, then came back and gave a weigh in at 230 pounds at another 'interview', but didn't run. marketing; he wasn't a very good NFL player.
Lewis may end up better than Fowler, (who was a B+ pass rusher at best), but he will be a drop off the first year--95% chance.Lewis has an incredible inside move, but his 'bend' doesnt look good to e---despite the reports that say he bends. Great athlete, but
doesn't have that bend, not even close. Still a great gamble in the 3rd round....and watch tape of Steve Foley, a very good, albeit one dimensional 3-4 LBer.
