my initial tests have shown that we can successfully perform an export of the current database on this server and a subsequent install into a new database on the new server, with everything seemingly working.

It does get a little tricky with some of the embedded files from within posts and profiles. I'm optimistic that we can get all of those too.

We'll know more in a week or so as to how things will shake out.
