1-Uniform and logo buffoonery. Took a classic and are on the edge of making it a disaster.
2-Cap management. Five million over with Leonard Floyd and a draft class to sign. If they don't sign Floyd that will be a bigger mess. And players like Fournette and Marquise Lee that people want? Yeah right.
3-Worst in the west. Player for player I'm not sure we aren't last in the NFC West.
4-Jalen Ramsey-a trade you make when you are a top team not a desperation trade. Especially if next year's pick is a top ten.
5-Reality. We are a 9-7 team and we lost Gurley and Cooks. Not big players last year but big players our super bowl year. In free agency our OL didn't get better. And regardless of stats our OL sucked last year. I remember watching the last half a season and thinking this team was successful because of a solid OL and we Goff was running for his life last year.
1. The Logo is just a logo, we haven't seen the unis yet , which is most important, so we'll have to wait and see.
2. This is what happens when a couple super stars break down due to injury, you have to sign you're cheap rookie QB to a market value 2nd contract and teams with money raid your other free agents.
3. Worst in the west??? How?
We were a missed FG away from sweeping the Seahawks, we completely crushed the Cards twice as usual and went toe to toe with eventual NFC champs in their house in week 16, if not for a couple bonehead plays we win that game.
Btw, that same missed FG cost us a playoff spot
4. We were and still are a top team, we just came off the Super Bowl when we traded for Ramsey....chances of finding a player like Ramsey in this years draft are slim and much slimmer not picking in top 5, so giving up next years first round pick to secure an All Pro corner is well worth it...every day and twice on Sunday
5. Addition by subtraction and a second pick on top when it comes to losing Cooks and Gurley...two players we just couldn't count on anymore
The OL played much better towards the end of the year and young guys got valuable experience...if we can avoid the injury bug and not have six different line combos in 2020 we should be much better up front.
We have four picks in the top 104 in this years draft that is loaded with talent!!!
I'm always gonna be a glass half full type, so to me there is a lot to like about the Rams right now......besides that damn logo
