1-Uniform and logo buffoonery. Took a classic and are on the edge of making it a disaster.
2-Cap management. Five million over with Leonard Floyd and a draft class to sign. If they don't sign Floyd that will be a bigger mess. And players like Fournette and Marquise Lee that people want? Yeah right.
3-Worst in the west. Player for player I'm not sure we aren't last in the NFC West.
4-Jalen Ramsey-a trade you make when you are a top team not a desperation trade. Especially if next year's pick is a top ten.
5-Reality. We are a 9-7 team and we lost Gurley and Cooks. Not big players last year but big players our super bowl year. In free agency our OL didn't get better. And regardless of stats our OL sucked last year. I remember watching the last half a season and thinking this team was successful because of a solid OL and we Goff was running for his life last year.
An incredibly negative viewpoint, CROMWELL, all due respect.
Uniform and logo? Incredibly unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
Cap management? Demoff is one of the best. And we must remember that this roster is loaded at many key positions. Hell, isn’t that the name of the game?
Worst in the West? Not hardly. Gave the 49ers all that they wanted in game !5 in SF. The 49ers were lucky to win that day.
Jalen Ramsey? Hard to criticize adding an All Pro type CB whenever possible. Helluva 1st round draft pick this year, don’t you think? Does that make you feel better thinking of him like that?
Reality? The reality was that the ‘19 versions of both Gurley and Cooks should be easy to replace, and both salaries were backbreakers. As to the OL? I’m more optimistic than you. Plus the draft might offer help.
I’m cautiously optimistic about this coming season, tbh. Won’t be easy in this division, but a deep playoff run wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
