Struggled with the playbook? You're gonna need to find a link for that. I haven't seen one report that said that.

There;s not going to be a team report saying a player struggles with the playbook.

But VB among others said that was his impression. And fwiw to me it looked that way.

With Henderson, you have to wonder where he is in the playbook/offensive understanding.

What is the deal with Darrell Henderson? Is he having that hard of a time adjusting to the playbook?

I have to believe he just hasn’t shown them in the classroom on the practice field he’s ready yet.

Hey, Vinny. I saw a stat saying the Rams are the only team that has targeted running backs less than 10% of passing plays.

I thnk there’s a concerted effort to monitor Gurley’s usage. I don’t think there is great confidence in Malcolm as a receiver. So until Henderson shows he’s ready – and that’s in the classroom just as much as the practice/playing field, I think it’ll stay this way

Is it taking Henderson a while to get on the field due to still learning the playbook?

No one has completely said that, but sense is there has been an adjustment for him in terms of how it works at this level in all phases. If I were him, I’m be following Todd and Malcolm around watching how it’s done at this level.
