I just think Everett is a really good player that has been a little slow to develop - I don't know why....but It is Everett that I thought woulda gotten the Higbee contract before Higbee. I wonder if there's a missing mental part of Everett that is holding him back and limiting his reps...cuz he's a far better talent at TER and a RAC monster waiting to happen every time he touches the ball.
Yeah, I know i'm in the minority on Everett...but I think he's a player if not asked to think to much? or Block too much? I dunno what it is that keeps him off the field for McVay. Maybe that all changes this year. Hell, we were all scratching our heads on 8m for Higbee until the 2nd half of last season....now Higs appears to be a steal at that price with that production.
There was a wr by the name of Darren waller from a school called Georgia tech that once had a guy named Calvin johnson. Wallers combine 6'6" 238lbs 4.46 forty 37 inch vert. They moved him to te he had some stuggles but he is working out pretty well for raiders now and he had limited college production numbers and some off field baggage. Claypool has much better upside than waller I think he could be a weapon at any position wr, slot, te, special teams, hail Mary offense and defense, etc.
