I was very pleased when they traded up for him, that’s for sure. And I saw him at the very least as a helluva insurance policy for a possibly injured Gurley.
But I was underwhelmed by his ‘19 results and his two injuries.
I think it would be foolhardy not to draft another RB that can put fear into the heart of an opposing D. Fortunately, Snead seems to be of the same mind.
Far better to have one too many quality RB’s than one too few.
I agree with that, but it doesn't take away what DH could be.... I want to draft a stud RB too, but won't be mad if they wait a few rounds either.
DH didn't really get an opportunity last year unfortunately with the late season ankle injury, but I think he may end up being one of our best draft picks ever by the end of his career.
It all depends on how well we can get back to being a top 10 o-line though....
