Although I don't believe that there will be any major sports held for the rest of the year, that doesn't stop me from trying to come up with some hair-brained ideas to make it happen. Here's one:
Would you...the Rams...the NFL mind if teams located in cities hit hard by Covid-19, temporarily relocate to lesser-affected places to play their games this season?
The reason I ask is because I just finished reading an article about two Nebraska state senators who'd like the social distance mitigation efforts in their state relaxed sooner rather than later to restart their economy. In particular, they referenced getting rid of the regulation limiting gatherings to less than 10. The senators were under the belief that it'd be better for everyone to catch the virus so that "herd" immunity could develop.
It wasn't clear to me if these senators consulted with any medical doctors, seniors, or folks with pre-existing medical conditions on their thoughts about herd immunity. Uhhh...that was a joke.
