I think the strategy to do it early to avoid the inflation salaries.
With Goff, we shall see if that was a good move soon.
There was no reason to do it with Gurley though at all. RB inflation is not nearly the same as QB
AD is the guy we did not re-up early oddly enough. But that could have been his call as much as the Rams.
We just need Goff to take a step up and his contract will look fine. AD getting paid seems to be working out even though it is costly. Ramsey will get paid and hopefully he will be worth every penny.
So defense will revolve around AD and Ramsey and offense will revolve around Goff. It was supposed to revolve around Goff, TG, and Cooks, but now it will be Goff.
