It cracks me up remembering how large masses on this board believed Gurley and Brandin Cooks were stuck on the Rams 2020 roster due to their cap hits and no takers for trades.
Gurley cut............... Didn't matter what the cap hit was for 2020. He's an all time Ram great for his short career but 95% of the fans never seen this coming in 2020. Was very likely in 2021 sure but he didn't even last on the 2020 roster until May 1st.
Cooks traded....... Fans believed no team would trade more than a bag of chips for him because of his health and contract. The Texans gave plenty for him. Sure the Rams still eat a big load of cash but the point is, a buyer traded for him and gave way more than a bag of chips.
