Ram Fan Teacher
I have 3 daughters. Two of them are Rams fans (my wife and other daughter are Bears fans...boo!). For myself, I am mostly concerned about the colors and the uniform/helmet with this rebranding.
The logo for me is no big deal. I didn't care for the previous logo used during the St. Louis years and my favorite logo has been the Rams head from the 70's-80's. As long as the colors are good...check, and the uniform/helmet look good.....(still waiting),...I will be happy.
As for my two older daughters (ages 20 and 22), they both think the new logos are just OK. They don't love it nor do they hate it. One daughter said the Rams head could look better but liked it more than the last Ram head. Both daughters said they will buy some of the new gear. They did like the Ram head logo better when the Ram head was combined with the other "word logos".
Just some perspective from the younger generation that has no ties to the city of Los Angeles.
one daughter works in manhattan in the creative design marketing industry. She knows all the firms that do this stuff. Nike, Anomaly (who Demoff hired), and some others that she said are the best. She said its an awful job. A terrible design that would never get accepted in her office.
second daughter is a film student who lives in Denver. She said its tacky and reminds her of a TV morning news logo like good morning LA.
third daughter is a math teacher in SF. When I mentioned Fibonacci to her, she broke out laughing. How ridiculous was her response.
I have yet to find any friends or family that likes it. I mean, not one.
