Do be a favor and name more backup OL to make your point Spags. What about Evans and Edwards and Whit? Blythe at OC was serviceable. Noteboom should get at least a full season at OG before there are any judgements as well, but if you want a LG in the draft I'm more then OK with that.
As 43 said so well, McVay's offense starts and ends with the running game, and a team that has 3 RBs active each week only has 2 on the roster. So yeah, why would a balanced offense that uses 3 backs draft a 3rd RB? Thats crazy. I say lets just go with 2 backs, 1 that is constantly hurt and is literally the definiton of a JAG in Brown and a guy coming into his second year that was apparently dinged up all season...
If the Rams start the season with Brown as their feature back, its going to be a long season.
That said, you don't need to reach for one in the 2nd, but if a stud drops, I'd go get him. Otherwise, Im waiting to day 3 as well. But only because thats where fit meets value for what the Rams need and/or want.
