Maybe Rams are preparing for that $10 million hit.......Believe me, Rams would be keeping Gurley if they knew the knee was fine. They released him "knowing" his knee will always be an issue and simply will not get to 100%.
Otherwise, he'd still be a Ram.......There's no reason to cut him if he's ready to go and be a #1 RB.
