I said it over a year ago. One need only look at the trendline.

Seasons have increased from 12 to 14 to 16 games as time marched on. An 18 game season one day is as inevitable as the advance of a glacier.

This contract looks like it includes an incremental increase to 17 games. And I think the players should accept the other owner concessions and run all the way to the bank.
