I am getting into the OL a bit now after the combine and I think when its all said and done, Matt Hennessy will have a solid 2nd round grade from me. If he goes to the right scheme (zone) he could be the starting answer sooner rather then later.
He is up 10 lbs from his listed weight and tested really well with that weight and has room to add more plus add some pro weight room strength. He is already very good getting his hands inside the pads on his man and locking them out, as well as a very smooth lateral skill set. He gets to the 2nd level well and seems very heady when looking for blitzers or stunters or which of his guards need help.
He has a bit of a narrow base, which will permanently affect his ability to anchor against pure power, but that is where the zone scheme comes into play.
I think the OC looks like: Ruiz (1st, early 2nd), Cushenberry (2nd), Hennessy (2nd), Biadasz (3rd) (hip surgery last off season and now shoulder surgery...), Harris (3rd,4th), Ismael and Hanson (day 3 types)
