I agree with you. But improvement can also be relative. I think it's unrealistic to think that Noteboom, Allen, Corbett, Evans and Edwards ALL improve noticeably in 2020. But it's equally unrealistic to think none of them will.

In my opinion the ones that would yield the most ROI for this team and are probably the most likely to improve are Edwards and Evans. They were flawed but came in vs ATL and CHI, respectively and immediately showed they belonged. The assignments weren't too big for them. With a good offseason in the weight room and coaching in OTAs and camp as presumed starters they should be well-prepared.

Corbett was a pleasant surprise to be sure but to me he is the most likely candidate to try and upgrade from. I like him better as a 6th man than quality starter. In fact, assuming Whitworth returns I would really like a quality LG next to him vs. someone maybe he sees as needing some help.

I believe Noteboom will be out there in OTAs come late May and, if Whitworth is the starting LT again, may get significant work at LT (and maybe RT?) in preseason. Keep him at tackle and let him develop. Maybe all he ever is is a 3rd OT. Who knows. Allen? To me his biggest issue is a need to get significantly stronger and add a good 10 lbs. It was much more that he was just physically overwhelmed too much vs. not knowing what he was doing. But I'd rather have him as a backup.

If they could enter week 1 with a bench of Corbett, Noteboom and Allen they'd have a trio that started 22 games in 2019 as reserves. That's about as good as you can hope for in today's NFL. Last year, remember, their backup OL had ZERO experience.
