You cannot cherry pick a 4th round DT to use as your argument.
What about comparing what Rapp did for the defense. He was a second rounder. That seems to be a more fitting comparison. Or even if you said Everett to back up your statement. And he did next to nothing his first year.
But to call out posters saying that we haven't learned anything about what little a 2nd round pick can contribute in his 1st season is just wrong. Not every player is going to be a first round pick and not every player on your team is going to be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd team all pro. So I am all for posters asking questions about a kid like Weaver, that IMO, could help a team like the Rams improve enough to get them back to the playoffs.
Besides, all he has to be is better then Ebukam right? Its not a high bar. And you are a better poster then that.
