I think he is more 34 edge or 43 DE then a 34 DE.
At 265 lbs, he is right at that breakpoint for 34 edge rushers. Fowler (same 6'-3" height) is 10 lbs lighter. Fowler weighed in at his combine at 261, so its not set in stone a guy is going to gain weight automatically after he gets into a NFL weightroom.
He is stout enough to anchor against the run, and has a quick enough first step and enough power to be an effective pass rusher. he isn't going to wow you with his athleticism, but he gets the job done.
I think the combine will tell us more about him. If he tests well, he's a late first early second kind of guy. If he tests poorly, he could slide all the way into beginning of the 3rd round.
