In fairness, Shanny does not call the pass play to Wilson if the Chiefs do not burn a timeout with 19 seconds left, but that is the point. I was shocked Shanahan did not call a timeout and try to get points before half as it seemed he was pleased being tied, reminded me of Chuck Knox.
Also IMO, when the 49ers were up 20-17 and had the ball, they ran it for five yards and then passed on 2nd and 5 and I thought that was a mistake. You run the ball well, keep running it, the ball got knocked down and they were force to throw on 3rd and five and Spags blitzed and incomplete. Overall, Shanny went away from the run, which was their greatest strength.
