This is the latest test of the latest greatest QB against a great defense.
We saw something similar recently when the Broncos with Peyton got abused by Seattles legion of boom, 5 years ago. Wilson was ok in that SB, nothing great but didn't have to be, plus he was only in his 2nd year.
The big questions in the comparison are:
Is Niners D as great as LOB was? Maybe, but I don't think so, based on the stats.
Is an old but still putting up great regular season numbers Peyton Manning as great as Mahomes right now? Thats the bigger question.
I think its quite likely that we are gonna see the most talented QB in NFL history defy the boilerplate that great D beats great offense. I think Mahomes is that good.
I don't believe the Chiefs will get abused like the Broncos did. Let Shanny prove me wrong.
