that's what is so special about Kobe. We got to watch him grow up before our eyes. Sure he had his issues, both on and off the court, but he came out of it on the other side, a truly special man.

I didn't know about half of the stuff he has done since he retired (not to mention the stuff he did while he played on the down low). It sounds like he was very well grounded and never got too big for anyone or anything. We were truly lucky to have him while we did.
