A case can be made either way.
On one hand, he finishes in the top 10 in career passing yards, TDs, and completions. Led (was not carried by) his team to two Super Bowl titles (both times as a wildcard team) and was Super Bowl MVP both times. 4 Pro Bowls.
On the other hand, Eli finished with just a .500 record as a starter. Only had a QB rating in the top 10 in the league
once in his career (2011) and at no time (single season or over a certain number of years) was he considered one of the top 5 QBs in the league. He was only Offensive Player of the
Week 4 times. Take away his rookie year and last year and his QB rating isn't even in the top 25 over 2005-2018...
