If it still holds. That bit I posted is from an article that was published in 2015. It was supposed to introduce Bears fans to Fangio's defensive system, and was based on VF's defense in SF. So who knows if it holds---it could be that VF did things the way he did at ILB in SF because he had Willis and Bowman. Is that still the way the VF system works? And even if it is, we also don't know if Staley will be a strict disciple of that system.
Either way, all this amounts to saying that you can't assume that what Wade did with ILBs will be what Staley will do.
