Besides getting hurt - what has he done? There wasn't much depth at the position and all he did was beat out 2 less talented reserve players -Hager and Reeder.
Howard could be something but we don't know. He looked good and bad. There's always a chance they move Patrick back inside - that was his slot coming into camp, I believe.
Dakota Allen is probably out there and available - did he end the year on an active roster?
If we don't keep Littleton we really have nothing prove and LB. There are likely some draft targets and / or reasonably-priced veterans they could target this offseason.
The whole LB group - inside and outside is likely going to undergo a makeover. I just hope they keep Littleton - he was by far one of the best 11 on defense last year.
