I think that should be self evident, man. McVay hired an OC in O’Connell for coordinating duties. Let Kromer do what he does best. Namely, maximizing his OL effectiveness.
We do agree that Kromer was staying al along. I inserted that because I’ve read here and elsewhere that Callahan might be coming onboard as either an OC or to replace Kromer.
Okay. Though it's actually common for OL coaches to have heavy input into the run game if not coordinate it. Hanifan did that for Martz as a matter of fact. Odds are, none of that reduces with O'Connell.
