Doesn't seem difficult to believe he was trying to minimize what was done. That's the problem with lying and cheating, once you're caught it can't be assumed that you're telling the truth about your lying and cheating.
Considering the NFL's actions, it's also hard to assume that what they're telling us is all there is. What we've been told is that guy was the only one but can that just be taken as gospel? One has to ask if the NFL has any motivation to spin what info they're sharing and since they destroyed the tapes and tried to brush it all under the rug, I'm hesitant to believe what they've offered as all that actually happened.
