I think that Goff will benefit greatly from better QB coaching from O'Connell. I also suspect that Waldron was in over his head as ‘passing game coordinator’. Those two statements can’t be overstated.

Lastly, it appears that O’Connell was much sought after once he became available, yet McVay snagged him. Those two things speak volumes to me.
