Wentz has an inherent tendency to put himself in vulnerable situations. All his fans blame Clowney, calling him a dirty player, but the refs said Wentz turned himself into a runner, he never gave himself up. He doesn’t do that, the refs know that, so does Snead, and so should everyone.
Great information Max, I know you and I have communicated about this as I wanted to draft Wentz and felt he was just unlucky when it came to injuries, but you stuck to Goff's durability and age being an asset. After a while you can grow tired of your QB always being injurd see Chris Chandler. Not sure Wentz will continue down this road, but it does seem to be a trend so far.
Thx den. I expected that Wentz would get through one season where he’d hold up through the playoffs. I mean, the odds say if it’s just random then he’s got to have one full year run, right? So I think it’s alarming that he hasn’t. The fact that this trend has continued from his time in HS is even more alarming. Tell me, why should we suddenly expect it to stop now? I think Snead has been proven prescient.
Simply put, his style of play invites injury. And I want no part of that, always sitting on the edge of my seat wondering when (not if) he goes down again.
