I know Joe Tessitore's history, he's from Albany, NY and attended CBA High School here and IMO, was better as a boxing broadcaster then football. Don't understand why ESPN went with Tessitore over Bob Wischusen who is under contract with ESPN and a far better football announcer than Tessitore. Maybe because they wanted Wischusen doing more games NFL & College and that left Wischusen with just the Monday Night assignments, but I have not been impressed by him whatsoever, that is for sure.
