He is NOT paid like a type flight WR.
It really is that simple. And it's not a matter of opinion.
His contract was standard issue for a continuing starter at his position (ie for a second contract). Some guys get less than he does only--and it really is ONLY--because they came up for 2nd contracts in previous years, when the market amount was lower. That amount goes up every year.
The things you say about his contract? They don't match the reality of how those contracts work.
