Not saying he will leave- and in my opinion he is
far from their biggest issue. The defense, Sunday notwithstanding, has been very good this year and in fact the coaching he and Pleasant have done to turn over almost the entire secondary midseason is pretty impressive. And they got back to the type of QB pressure they had in 2017.
That all said, all I will say is that with rare exception Phillips has tended not to stay in one place more than three years. He had two six-year stints in Denver and then Buffalo but that was because he became head coach midway at both.
