I remember seeing Gurly upset week 1 first series I believe.
He took a shot directly on the knee.
I can't say he was reinjured early but he probably got stung and he may have had some uncertainty going forward causing some tentative play.
It may be that he is 90% of himself but had some issues that held him back from going full throttle and eyes may have judged that as more reason to be cautious in his snap counts.
I think he has more confidence now . If there are things he can't do well he knows that and by now he's made an adjustment.
He can hit a hole and he has some drive in his legs on contact.
Those are very good signs.
I'm a bit concerned he may be inhibited on cuts and cutback runs .
It's ok .
Todd at 90% of his apex is still a better than average RB.
I do think he can be used in the passing game to a much greater degree.
That could get him back to greatness.
He is a great young man as far as his effort and how he relates to his teammates.
