I think they changed the blocking assignments on that play.

The Rams left the 3 tech DLineman unblocked. I think they used to leave the DE unblocked on that play. Now it looks like they are keeping the TE on the DE and allowing the play-side tackle to climb to the next level. The TE blocking vs. SEA was outstanding! Clear as mud?
