As critical as I’ve been of Cooks, I think the concussions are a big reason why he is not the same guy he was his first few years.
He appears stiff and timid now. Is that a permanent condition? Don’t think we can be sure, but I don’t like the odds of him returning to his old self. I hope he bounces back, but if he doesn’t the Rams have a difficult decision to make next year. Hopefully there’s a chance he makes a key big play down the stretch that makes everyone happy.
