Its only my opinion but these players are making so much money they never dreamed of before that it just makes a tough loss easier to take. No one is struggling as they once were growing up. Its too bad when it comes to drafting a player or trading for one you can't get inside the person to see if the mental toughness you seek will be there in down times. If there is anyone that appears to be able to do that it is Belichick. And when your talking about L.A. where the landing is always soft you really need to seek out those guys that will be less susceptible to all that So Cal offers. I don't mean how good the athlete is in terms of skills or how high he jumps or how large his hands are or has fast he runs. I want to know how strong his heart and soul is. How he would act following last night's game. More important how would he "feel". Most will say those are unknown qualities. I'm not so sure. I think there are people who can sit down for a long time with another and know more about that person than others could ever know with the same time spent. We need to find such a person.
