I know he's not the player he was, but I would offer him $5 mil for one more year with the understanding he'll be back up/mentor.
He's got 4 kids and may not want to uproot them right now. $5 mil to sit on the bench at age 38 may be appealing.
On our side our assumed LT next year is coming off MCL & ACL injuries. With no real backup on the team.
Seems to me a win/win.
